Question:
I am thinking of buying the $169 "X10" 3 camera wireless security camera
system for the house and now I am wondering if anyone has used it for any
work on video? Apparently it transmits color and sound 80 feet...and there
is also a night version for 50 bucks. Anyone have one?
Answer:the Radio shack has a 2.4 gig model 99$ i bet it doesnt go terribly far
either but i bet its a lot further the way to test the theory is to take
your 2.4 gig phone and as soon as you hear even the slightest hiss
thats about the length of decent video from it they are good for stopped
instalations from the vcr in the living room to the monitor in the bed room
but i bet if you move the thing around it'll act like a pair of rabbit ears
somewhere out there is a device that is a low power UHF tv transmitter
it could be collected with a tv and send the av out
