Do you know about the wireless security monitor and camera?

Question: I just bought the wireless security monitor camera from Ratshack.it works l ike a champ! I noticed them on sale in a flyer that came in the mail...a wireless camera (with IR for night vision!) and a 5" B/W monitor receiver...regularly $249 on sale for $129. I bought it for my 26' TT and was concerned about getting the signal all the way through the trailer into my pickup near the floor in front of the console. I screwed the little bracket it comes with to the inside window frame (removed a screw...through the bracket, installed the screw) looking out back, the monitor in the front of the truck on the seat. Works great! Its a bit unwieldy to use sitting on the seat and really confusing looking at a non-mirror image (no, it won't switch) so I put it under the console facing forward, put a mirror in front of it so I could see it and *voila!* Instant rearview camera system! I really like being able to see whats behind as we travel...I don't use it for backing...just to see if anything is there before I back...see if I'm backing up traffic and so on. I would prefer the monitor have more contrast, but its extremely useful! Glad I bought it! (may get another camera to stick on the tongue while hitching...that might make it easier for both partners). Radioshack.com, then to security and home automation, then to wireless black and white/ color and its the third item down.

Answer:I haven't done the wiring yet...I'm going to have to find some 12Volts in the trailer...may have to run something from the panel up front but the receiver in the truck will run easily from the 'Power Point' or the cigarette lighter. The batteries made it throught the entire trip...about 4 hours each way. Gotta watch it with the camera and power...take out the batteries when on house power since it has a built in charger.
