Question: With the new wireless home security systems, how long does it take to
install one and how complicated is it? I am assuming that the wireless
systems are 100% wireless so no electrical wiring is needed. Can anyone
tell me how to install home security system ?
Answer:Not entirely...You will need a receptacle nearby to plug in the main control
panel. If you want your system monitored or with some panels have the
ability to call into it and turn it on/off or check the system status, you
will need a phone line. This phone line needs to be the first line coming
from your phone box on the outside of the house. It doesn't have to be, but
doing this gives the alarm panel priority over the rest of the phones in
your home.
