Question:
Does anyone have any recommendations for a reputable home security
monitoring company service? I've been told by a few security alarm
dealers that I must go through them, and that as far as they know the
monitoring services won't deal directly with consumers. Does anyone know
if this is true?
Answer:As an owner of a well known 3rd party station, I'd like to qualify
your statement.
We will monitor direct to both homeowners or business owners providing
a) they agree to the terms of our monitoring agreement
b) they are not currently monitored by an existing alarm company in
our station OR they have irreconcilable differences with that company
(which we verify)
c) the system and their usage of it meets our standards
There are many centrals that take this position.
Sticking one's head in the sand only ensures that the rest of you will
be run over.
