Question: if I'm not mistaken, it is a crime to sell and install without a license. So
what is your license number Bass? How is chicago adt?
Answer:Mike - Did you ever wonder if Bass tried to get hired by ADT and was turned
down as his fingerprints would not pass with law enforcement. When I was hired
all applicants were printed and the prints submitted to the Chicago PD.

Same here. When I was hired by ADT I was finger printed. There was also a 1
year probation period. After the 1 year, I was allowed to apply for a permit
to carry a firearm. This required some more finger printing as well as a one on
one sit down talk with the Judge who issued your carrying permit. Being we were
always on duty with ADT we were allowed to carry that firearm 24/7. Things
have changed since then. I also had to get a secret government clearance to
enter plants like Lockheed where sensitive Military testing of equipment was
going on. It was an honor to wear ADT Alarm Service Investigators Uniform back
then. The State & Local Police always respected us. Times have changed BUT one
can say if you were an ADT investigator you were a clean cut person with a
*PERFECT* record.
