How is camera pc security wireless?

Question: Let me start this by breaking down the PCs and connections you have, as I see this...

1. You have a laptop that can access the public internet via a wireless connection, meaning you can surf web pages, send/receive email, etc, correct?. What OS is the laptop running?

2. You have a home PC connected to the public internet via a ADSL connection and use a static IP address (you have 5 static addresses but only use one which does not change), correct? What OS is the home PC running?

3. You have multiple work PCs behind a router on a cable modem. The cable IP is dynamically assigned. What OSs are the work PCs running? What is the manufacturer and model of the router? Are the PCs on the work LAN using static or DHCP assigned IP addresses?

Please let the news group know that information so we can give you some options and/or additional help...

Answer:1. My laptop PC uses Windows XP Pro and can access anything on the internet using Verizon Wireless' Express Network feature up to 154 Kpbs with Dynamic IP address. 2. My home PC uses Windows XP Pro and my router is Speedstream (Efficient) 5861. Currently router's NAT (meaning DCHP assigned) is turned on meaning only one static IP address can be used however I can turn NAT off and allow my laptop use 2nd different static address if I need to test my home PC's security camera card which I do not have it now, instead it is at my work right now. Router's bridging can be turned ON, it is currently OFF. 3. At my work, one pc with Windows XP Home and security camera card, 3 pc with Windows 98, one pc with Windows 95, one pc with Windows ME, my boss' one laptop pc with Windows XP Pro(?) with Verizon Wireless' Express Network and one laptop pc with Windows 2000 plus my laptop pc mentioned on #1 using either LAN port or wireless LAN. We orignally used a dial-up server slow 46? Kbps modem and feed to two 8-port basic LAN hubs (brand name and model not known yet) and one 4-port Linksys router with wireless LAN (model BEFW11S4). Some weeks ago We already disconnected server slow modem and connected AT&T Broadband Cable TV's modem to Linksys router and Linksys feeds to two 8-port basic LAN hubs. All wired/wireless are DHCP assigned (NAT). We already set some PCs to allow file sharing within LAN only, We have not set to allow outside LAN yet as we can't figure out yet. We will add more PCs as well as will add two more Linksys wireless LAN or router in two more offices in same large building with too many steel walls inside building.

I hope all detailed shown are enough for you to determine.
