Question: Remember all the talk of on board security to combat potential
terrorists/hykackers. Has this actually been put in place by any of the
airlines and if so do the airlines publish that they have this added
security feature? Maybe it has all died a death and was a knee jerk reaction
from 9/11.
Interested to hear from anyone who knows for sure the current policies in
place. Anyone know camera home security toronto ?
Answer:I had to take the lens of my SLR camera for security at Toronto airport,
after putting the lens back on I had to then take a picture with the camera.
When the film was developed my wife asked when I had taken that terrible
close up of her.
Security in Turkey is very tight and before loading the baggage on the plane
you have to touch it to acknowledge it as yours.Not knowing this on our
first internal flight, I was surprised when a call was put over the tannoy
for me to come to the back of the plane.I acknowledged that the last two
cases on the tarmac were ours. However that was not good enough for them and
I had to go down the steps in pouring rain to touch our cases. It did work
to our advantage on another flight as our cases were not on the tarmac with
the rest. We refused to board the plane until they were found, they
threatened to leave without us and fortunately I spotted our distinctive
case on a passing trolley heading for another plane.
