Question: I'd like to get a DVR (Digital Video Recorders) and cameras in my store.
But there seems to be so many to choose from, that I don't know where to
start. Do you know where I can find reviews of hard-drive based recorders
for security cameras?
Which would you recommend?
Can I get more hard drive than 240 Gigs?
Thank you for, hopefully, make this decision a lot easier!
Answer:We manufacture a pci DVR card called ECHO that you can plug into your
computer and use for video recording of up to 64 cameras. You can add as much
hard drive as you like...our system will record to as many drives as you
need.
Comment for consideration:
How did you come to conclude that you specifically need 240GB of hard drive?
The amount of drive required is primarily a function of the type and quality
of compression, and of how long you need to keep recordings. We'd be happy to
help you refine your requirements.
