Question:Can anybody with experience tell me what criteria are good to consider
when choosing a home security company (the patrol type, like Westech)? I
live in the L.A. area -- are there safety issues I should consider, such
as armed versus unarmed response, etc? Are the larger firms the best,
most cost-effective option? Will a simple arm system be protection enough?
A bunch of question, I know. But if you have any experiences/good advice
you wouldn't mind passing on, I'd be much obliged.
What do you know about the best home security company?
Answer:If someone broke into your house while you were gone, sets off the alarm,
grabs your TV and VCR, or stereo and leaves in less than 2 minutes would
the security company be able to do anything more than notify you after the
fact? Alarms are deterrents as are certain signs, mine reads: Intruders will
be shot.
