Question: Can anyone tell me if it makes any difference if I use a 21" color TV or 21"
color monitor. I am doing a camera job and the customer already has a
monitor in the office for another system. I want to give him another monitor
that he can also use for TV. I know this will work but will the resolution
on the TV be okay or better. I can buy a 21" name brand TV for the price of
a high resolution color monitor. Can you give me information about Lcd
Cctv Monitor?
Answer:You pay tax for everything in the UK Supports their great medical and other government plans though ...
TV is fine, though no, its not going to be as high res, and it is not
industrial so cannot stay on 24/7 for years without dying. Its up to
you. For clients that dont want to spend the $$ on a Monitor, though I
let them know the differences, the best Tv to use is the Flat Panel,
not LCD, the tube like one with a flat screen, it gives a much better
image than the normal Tube TVs, and is not much more $$. Honestly if
you are using cheap low res cameras, a TV is all you need, unless it is
going to be left on 24/7, and some have power saving mode.
By the way, we pay 45% Customs Import taxes, add wieght and shipping
our Lcd CCTV monitors sell for an arm and a leg down here so thats why we
use TVs alot of the time now, at least for budget conscious clients.
Happy Holidays ..
