Question:
I am wondering if anyone has any know how on internet camera surveillance. my
parents own a bar, and there has been some theft. I would like to know if
anyone has the know hows to use real time video. I was thinking of 3
wireless cams, a pc dedicated to a cable modem so i can monitor the bar
online as i have cable as well. Also recording it in the office to capture
the person or persons that is doing this. any help will be appreciated. My
father keeps telling me that wireless, 2.4 ghz transmission can be stolen
outise of the building to see where we keep money etc... i wasnt worried
about this but it can happen, but didnt think a criminal would do this at a
dollar beer place. Can you give me some Internet Surveillance Camera
recommendation? Any input would be great.
Answer:Checkout my website and the SharpVision product line. It does everything you
need. You father is right about the wireless camera's but they do work. USB
will not work because the maximum distance is 15ft. Look at the features
list. There is also a webclient demo setup which is live real-time and I
just added a pan/tilt /zoom camera to the webclient.
