Question: Living in Africa one normally does not come across snowy conditions, I need
to place three cameras with fibre optic feeds in an area that will be
around -25 deg Celsius. I expect my American and Canadian colleagues will have used some sort of
heated camera box or camera and would appreciated some advice, also is there
any comments/advice regarding the fibre in such extreme cold?
Can anyone give me some advices on CCTV systems? As is usual,
your expert advice is appreciated.
Answer:We would be happy to work things out with you. Indeed we have quite a few pc
based video surveillance systems sold into South Africa. One of our clients
there is Old Mutual. I'm sure you know them.Anyway, we are CANADIAN and deal with cold weather installations all the time.
It would be a pleasure to work with you. Send an email to me and we can get the
ball rolling.
